The real downside of the phone is low light photography, UDFPS & image processing time. Other than that phone is on par with most SD855 phones, obviously it can't match SD855.

I thought it would take at least 5 seconds for photos to appear in the gallery but it just depends on what's going on in every photo. Some photos take as little as 2 seconds, while others take an additional 2 seconds. I'm also not really counting so take what i say with a grain of salt. If you buy the phone knowing its limitations, you'll feel better about using it and many of the photos you take will satisfy you. Hope this helps!

In the same time this device is not for everybody, and for sure not for avarage joe. It's nische level is actually it's flow. But if you like a great camera and a good device, at this price their is nothing that can.beat Nokia 9. Hardware, design language, camera. It is a device that has more personality then 90% of on the market devices this days.

Thanks, but no thanks. Potential is there, but the execution needs at least 5 years of refinement. Company Light needs that refinement. It was too early for them to go mobile. I have big doubts about 9.1 now. I think they should go in a different direction altogether. Take everything that was great about 808 and 1020, apply some better algorithms and we'll have a winner. BIG sensor, OIS, HDR, AI, 950 algorithms refined, Carl Zeiss, better aperture, ND filter, surround sound recording, latest Snapdragon, may be even dedicated quick Pureview chip. Add some good wide-angle, maybe even anamorphic and Boom, right there. As much as I would love to see Light succeed, I think they still have a long way to go. I mean, anyone remember Lytro was cool?

Nokia 9 is truly one of the worst phones HMD has made. It has far too many annoyances.
Currently, HMD's midrangers are better than their flagships... So if you're into HMD phones, then consider Nokia 7 Plus, X7 or X71 instead.

The 3320mAh battery is too small and the back of the smartphone creeps me out. I hope the next version has more RAM and a large battery.

bought it and it is a disappointment. just avoid. slow, fingerprint doesnt work, horrible software support, cameras are terrible....i would never buy any of Nokia flagship again

Here in Slovakia the phone cost from 570 euros up to 834 euros depends on vendor you buy from.
Thats too expensive.
But even the 499 dollars which is like 450 euros is a good price for phone like this.
With SD855 for same price and improved cameras not only for awesome bokeh effects but for anything else as well i would be first in line to buy.
Nothing beats pure android experience maybe only harmony when it will be properly revieved.
