      Using some fringe OS instead of Android is a disadvantage.

      The 4 year old LG WINE does have better specs than the newly released Nokia 2720 Flip. It's a fact:

        Matagalpa, 06 Sep 20191. The old Nokia 808 still had a much larger camera sensor ... moreThat's because LG Wine is running Android , while the Nokia 2720 Flip runs on KaiOS. Two completely different mobile OS there.

        Also, LG Wine has a better spec? Hope you are joking, Samsung's Galaxy Folder2 and W2019 would eat that LG for breakfast!

          I love the design of the 2720 Flip.
          Looks really nice.

              I think the smartphone market is overcrowded, bloated with too many dizzying apps. I rather have a feature phone instead so I concentrate more on my friends and family. I need a flip phone.

                Tsito, 06 Sep 2019PPL in my region don't know about Nokia anymore, Chinese br... moreTalking about sad marketing. Well, Appple and samesung done it, it is time for the chinese to make it sound like they are good. At some point, european brands will take back their right, and all these copycrapps will desappear.

                  In a perfect world, this is how Nokia devices would've progressed:

                  Device: Year 2017, Year 2018, Year 2019
                  Nokia 1: QSD 617 -> QSD 625 -> QSD 632
                  Nokia 3: QSD 650 -> QSD 636 -> QSD 665
                  Nokia 5: QSD 652 -> QSD 670 -> QSD 675
                  Nokia 7: QSD 653 -> QSD 712 -> QSD 730
                  Nokia 9: QSD 835 -> QSD 845 -> QSD 855
                  Example: Nokia 9 -> Nokia 9.1 -> Nokia 9.2

                  As for the price and specs:
                  Device: USD Price, RAM, Storage, Battery, Size of 21:9, Display Quality - Overall
                  Nokia 1: ~$150, 2GB RAM, 32GB, 2,500mAh, 5.50 inch, 720p IPS - Cheapest
                  Nokia 3: ~$250, 4GB RAM, 64GB, 3,000mAh, 6.00 inch, 1080p IPS - Best Value
                  Nokia 5: ~$400, 6GB RAM, 128GB, 3,500mAh, 6.50 inch, 1080p IPS - Decent
                  Nokia 7: ~$500, 6GB RAM, 128GB, 4,000mAh, 7.00 inch, 1080p OLED - Decent
                  Nokia 9: ~$700, 8GB RAM, 256GB, 4,500mAh, 7.50 inch, 1440p OLED - Fastest

                  ...but like I said, this is in an ideal/perfect world where things are as balanced as Thanos.

                    Nice classy release Nokia. The 7.2 looks beautiful.

                      HMD is still trying to play with the nostalgia of the fans. But they have already squeezed their patience too much. The old innovation and exclusivity is gone. They are only reusing old formulas and on smartphones cloning Chinese phones. But with older hardware than the competition and much higher prices that cannot be justified in any way.

                      It is impossible to expect any surprise worth buying at a good price. And when their higher ranges arrive near Christmast they will be outdated with total security. It is something that is seen coming.

                          Nokia 110, reminds me of Nokia 3210 in the form design somehow.

                            PPL in my region don't know about Nokia anymore, Chinese brand Huawei, oppo, vivo taken over the region, even Samsung almost no room for them and going to slowly disappear.

                              660 and 636? Well, 7 Plus and 6.1 Plus in different case then. No need to replace my old one with this outdated SoC.

                                1. The old Nokia 808 still had a much larger camera sensor than this 7.2, at 1/1.2" vs 1/2".

                                2. A flip phone that supports GPS, Google Maps, WhatsApp, etc is nothing new. LG WINE did exactly that, but had a better screen, faster CPU, more RAM, better camera. And to top it off? It had all these better specs 4 (!) years ago.
