Sony posts official Xperia 5 promo videos, including hands-on and a Fortnite stream

05 September 2019
Fortnite was played with DualShock 4 controllers wirelessly connected to the phone, of course, offering a huge advantage over touch controls.

akenku, 06 Sep 2019158cm compact??? ill take s10e or p30 anyday over this xper... moreYou never hold a P30Pro in your hand did you? For having tried both, even the Xperia 1 feels less bulky than the huawei. You can easily use the former with 1 hand while it's impossible with the second one. It's heavy, slippery, and the curved glass doesn't help with the handling at all. Just try them.

Morientes, 06 Sep 2019I am starting to like it. Only big downside is 158mm. No mo... moreYou shouldn't worry too much about tallness as it's the only dimention you can't feel in any way. It's the 68mm width, that makes this phone compact as most of the phones are 75mm wide today.

        I NEED THIS!

        Perfect dimensions for me.

If only they stick with the old form factor. This is just too long and with no 3.5mm headphone jack, where Sony is supposed to superior in audio capability. I have Z3 Compact which I absolutely love, but currently lying dead. XZ1 Compact more appealing than this one, but that's just me.
