Samsung ships 2 million units of Galaxy Note. That's 2 million Notes with such low quality Amoled display.

Korea, 01 Mar 2012I watch a lot of korean dramas. It seems a lot of hot chic... moreAren't people of that part of the world slightly shorter than average though? Are you sure they aren't just using an SGS2 and it looks huge in their tiny hands?? ;-)

Seriously though, Have had thisphone since November and can't fault it. It looked massive when I first got it, and still does when you put it side by side with an iPhone or Galaxy S or similar, but on it's own, I don't even notice how big it is any more. It is great to use to go on the internet, texting, and awesome for games. It fits in my pocket fine, and anyone that says they look like a fool using it to make calls.. do you not remember the size of the phones from just a few years ago? Massive bricks! In comparison my slender Note looks quite small.

I'm no Samsung fanboy, in fact I don't really like the brand and it fact took a great deal of soul searching before I took the plunge. But would I have this (or an SGS2) over the slightly underwhelming iPhone 4S? You bet!

I watch a lot of korean dramas. It seems a lot of hot chicks are using this phone as a marketing scheme. Looks great on them as well.

Don't be jealous please. I'm using my Samsung Galaxy Note from AT&T more than 3 weeks and I love it. I switch from iPhone 4. And I tell you that, SGN is the best phone that I ever had. Screen of quality, speed, quality of sound, quality of video, loud speaker, games are all AWESOME and I love it more than my old and little iPhone 4s. I never go back to small screens. It can fit on my pocket easily without any problem.

The note is always getting sold out in the shops in my country since it was launched a few months ago so I believe that number. The note looked huge when I first saw it. But when I saw that gorgeous screen, I was bowled over. Now that I have been using it for months, I cannot imagine going back to a smaller phone. Since we also use our phone for internet, media, games etc, the note is fantastic in doing all that with it's big screen. Because it is also thin, it becomes more pocketable. I have no issues putting it in my jeans front pockets. Give it a try, you may like it more than you think.

I don't understand why people complain so much...if there's just small phones, they want big ones, if there's big ones, they say it's too big...I own a galaxy note and I can't go back to my SII, the screen looks so little...and before someone complain about my English, I'm from Brazil and I did my best...

I've been using this phone- yes you got it right, it is a PHONE- since almost two months, and my only concern now is that if Samsung, or any other manufacturer for that matter, didn't make this very size again. In such unfortunate event, I might be ending using this forever!

AND, if you happen to find it too big for your taste, don't buy it, simple as that. AND IT FITS WAY WAY EASILY IN MY BUSINESS PANTS THAT I CAN'T EVEN FEEL IT'S THERE, SO STOP BIT**ING ABOUT IT, WILL YOU!

Fits into pockets no problem. High resolution screen is awesome. To be honest I didn't even notice that it is big. However, after using it for about a week I can not go back to any of the phones because their screens are just too small.

I remember when iPad first came out we were sitting at the cafe located in one of biggest malls in Toronto. It was such a fun to watch how one of these proud iPad owners was walking around making laps with iPad turned on and screen facing out for everyone to see that he got one... Galaxy Note is the best phone hands down. With this phone you don't need a stupid tablet since lots of content fits on its high-resolution screen. Too big for your hands? Don't buy it - you have a choice right?

I bought mine in December. Everyone asks me oh what is that. Sometimes I say it's a tablet that works as a phone and sometimes I say it's a larger phone. People react better when I say it's a tablet. But without exception, all those who found it too big to be a phone changed their minds after I showed some full HD videos and explained how great it is to surf the Web in a a large screen. Some people even agreed that the Note is what they need. I would expect the writers in gsm arena to be more open minded and not too prejudicial. Even average people find out good things about the note why wouldn't you? I am still in deep love with mine, although I would like more battery life for browsing, and feel sorry when I see someone bragging about an iPhone 4s with its 3.5 screen and year old look.
