02 March, 2012
It seems like Huawei will join HTC and LG in manufacturing the latest private label phones for T-Mobile US.

Don't know about Huawei, but chinese sure can do good products, see Meizu MX. But never had a Huawei, so I don't know about the brand itself.

It's all about quality, not country, since almost everyting is made on china. Hope chinese companies invest in quality, and then we get cheaper phones with good quality.

i have no problem with any brand from europe, america, japan, france wich is made in china with chinese workers. those chinese workers only push the buttons of big industrial robots, very expansive made by those good brands to produce their devices, no matter apple, sony, alcatel, nokia. but chinese-born products like huawei or zte are so so so cheap. please, if you want to take a huawei, put 50 bucks over and take some serious brand, any brand but not huawei or zte

AnonD-23506, 04 Mar 2012Chinese craps?Oh try opening the back of your phones...i had huawei u8850 vision and it was a biiiiig crap. beside a good screen with android is hidden a cheap product with very bad signal, very bad speaker, very bad anything. yes, my iphone 4s is made in china but is made in a factory where robots and industrial standards are made by apple. the same with nokia or sony-ericsson. they are very good with no difference from their sisters made in europe. but huawei it is a big mistake, believe me,i had one

Tmobile won't do well when other carriers have iPhones and they don't.

Crap or not, competition it's good for all of us, the consumers the more choices the better bang for you back!

Besides if you read the review of their smartphones and tablets are of very good quality on par with those who have been doing it for a long time, and a lot cheaper. The internal hardware is the same anyway..

IMO, Huawei is ok, not as bad as you might think.. before you say it's a garbage Chinese company, read up upon it first.. it is without doubt one of the big players in network infrastructures industry..

the only thing that makes me worried is the aftermarket support, as there are not many Huawei support office out there..

but product wise, it is not that shabby, quite decent in fact.. i am guessing it will be one of the bigger name in smartphone scene by the end of 2012..

don't judge something before you actually encounters it.. remember, HTC was like Huawei before and now it is one of the powerhouses among android OEMs..

but, boy, the phones' chins look like my Desire S' chin..

where is the optical track pad?
that was the best thing about the mytouch line, and now they are taking it away? WHY?
