Cool how the HTC fans now are talking themselves into not needing a microSD card now.

Learning to like the idea and ignoring all the limitations of having to access your storage via a network.

Fans like that are a joy to HTC as you now help them save $3.48 per handset.

    Wont even Mention the Pentile.
Sure you HTC fans can talk yourselves into loving that
    idea as well now anyway.

AnonD-45072, 07 Mar 2012Why are you suprised? LG makes the iPhone's IPS displayI know but, I thought that they will maybe keep the best for them selves, it seems that I was wrong, this is great for LG because one x will sell in truck loads but they maybe lost a few customers to HTC because well some people were buying LG just because of the screen, like my self, good screen is very important to me and I thing that except for the blacks AH-IPS LCD is the best screen out there and to be honest it black are rather black, not OLED black but black, but I don't like OLED oversaturation of colors and that's why i think that LG makes the best screen up to date on market

LG is one of the bigger LCD/Display producer.
So, is main activity is to sell display on his phone or other brands.

For one, pentile matrix was never claimed as good, and in fact it was quite criticized since it made pixelation more noticeable. To somewhat fix the issue, on the Amoled Plus Samsung got rid of pentile matrix and went with standard RGB sub-pixel structure. Second, Samsung S2 does not have the best display whatsoever. 480x800 resolution, and oversaturated colors on a giant display....I'm sorry but what makes it the best display to date????? NOTHING!!! It's an average display, nothing special.

I hate to use such language but there is just tons of bull$h!t going on in mobile industry to kick each other a$$e$ in business and to fool the users/consumers instead of providing solid ground of productive and entertaining facilities in one. Smartphones that ones were ^smart^ and productive tools to offer something to everyone are now plain one-sided expensive toys and nothing more.

However some an.SD Card slot wouldn't have been too much to add and would have differentiated nicely with all of these super phones being announced

AnonD-3112, 06 Mar 2012So that sums upto saying that there's no "new technolo... moreThere is a fatal flaw onto Super Amoled Plus screen.
You cannot use a Super Amoled Plus for long hours. You may get a dizziness, nausea and headace.
I have figure it out a few days ago. I've watch youtube Gameplay for a game for more than 4 hours on my mother(s SGS2.
I got a bad headace compare to my conventional LCD. I don't know..
I'm guessing the weak in contrast causing nausea.
Now, I either prefer the old Super Amoled or a Normal LCD.

I just want to tell everyone about this issue. If Samsung make a big Super Amoled Plus Home TV, You too may have dizzyness when watching TV or playing XBox/PS3 for long hours..

PS. If you do not believe me, u try it yourself.

Hello you all, please just let me know if anyone of you got hands on ONE X, ONE S? I am sure the answer is huge NO, right, so why the all fuss about them, first get your hands on any 1 of them then talk or say anything about them, but to me HTC did real good job this time.

So that sums upto saying that there's no "new technology" being used on these units. Those pen-tile matrices were one reason why Super AMOLED Plus was born and thus, the Galaxy SII's screen remains the best to date.

Even after an year of Samsung launching the SII, it still holds the top spot. Whereas, others seem to be following its footsteps! ;)

Htc is hidding in the official specs the fact that the amoled is pen-tile based. Probably because it is a negative point, but this is not honest for the consumer.
