Zaome has the Mi (including the A, CC9, etc.) series, the Redmi (including the K and a bunch of other) series, the Redmi Note series, the Mi Mix series, the Black Shark series, and now they're bringing back the Mi Note series?! These are just from the top of my head, I'm not even talking about past models like the Mi Max series, which they could also bring back as well. And silly people blame Samsung for releasing a ton of smartphones every year when the Chinese are better at it than anybody else lol.

Should have "Plus" name instead of "Note" to avoid consumer confusion about Redmi Note line and Mi Note line. The last Mi Note line has mediocre SoC (SD 660) so it is mid / mid-high range class. Also, Note name should use pen instead of just have larger display.

HxH, 11 Oct 2019well, I dont quite understand very well Xiaomi's product li... moreI think it will work like Samsung's Note and S lines. This year's S10+ and Note10+ pretty much describe what I think.
Note10+ had a 6.8" display, while S10+ was 6.4".
So I think that the vanilla Mi series will have a display smaller than 6.5", but the Mi Note series will be as big as even 7.0". If they get rid of those bezels and make it 100% fullscreen... Then yeah... They can be 7.0".
Also, it should be the Super-Premium phone that has every single high-end spec. Best camera, best build quality, highest screen resolution, dual speaker, Hi-Res audio output, etc...
Add the currently-called "Mi Pen" to the package, and it will easily differ itself from any other Mi/Redmi phone.

It's probably because of Mi Mix Alpha. The Mi Mix series may not come back to $700 - $900 because of Alpha. It's logical that Xiaomi should one up the Mi Mix Alpha so same price and same wrap around OLED.
With Mi Mix gone, there should be a phone series that can do that at this price range and the Mi Note series might do the trick. Xiaomi should collaborate with Wacom for their stylus. Oh, they should bring back the headphone jack since the Mi Note 3 removed it.

well, I dont quite understand very well Xiaomi's product line up, but in this day and time, I dont see how well that Redmi Note would fill in their product line. Big screens are not that uncommon nowadays, and unless Note becomes a 5-5.5 inches devices, I dont see how are they going to make it different to their other devices or different compared to other brand's offerings

It's very strange. They already have the K20/9T and K20 Pro/9T Pro that are very success phones. Make a midrange version of them with updated hardware doesn't make sense now or even a flagship.
The Note phones were a jack of all trades so the only way to find market now is add it what K20/K20 Pro don't have, expandable memory, a pen, and without remove anything, add 5G too. And then price it properly below the Note 10 and other phones with pen. If the price is enough good, it could be a killer in that segment. Aside that, the market doesn't seems to have space now to a phone like the Note 3 but with the actual format and dimensions.

I wish Xiaomi uses 2K resolution for their 2020-onward flagships. The screen size is getting bigger and bigger each year, and FHD+ doesn't look that good on a 6.8, 6.9 or 7.0 inch display.
They used the 2K resolution in Mi Note Pro (2015) which was only 5.7 inches.
So I hope that they use it in their 2020 flagships.
