Touch ID stopped working after 12.4.4 update on iPhone 6. And this is not a hardware issue.

iPhone 6 +; updated to 12.4.4. Now I cannot connect to new bluetooth devices, and the bluetooth indicator icon is not present. Tried all the suggestions I found about rebooting, etc. Nothing works. Also, I have a nikon coolpix which will not detect the app on the phone, and won't connect. Still connects to watch, GPS in car. I had the Nikon appbridge app connected before the update. One suggestion was to remove device, reboot, turn bluetooth off and reboot. Nothing worked.

For the 3rd time, the one thing IPhones have going for them is the freaking software. IOS is very optimized and developers optimize their games even more for it since they make more money out of the AppStore. Hardware wise, IPhones are nothing impressive. Bionic is fast, but your "unparalleled" description makes it sound like they 5 years ahead when the difference is only a fraction.

The same is true for iphone 6.
The 5s is a phone that can't get you through the day even with a new battery, it's totally outdated. A 150$ new android phone smoke it at any level(especially the battery).

I’m posting this from my 5s which is still fast enough and usable. Typing is as fast as on a latest apple device, not even the minute lag! This is not my main device. I’ve upgraded to iPhone 8 Plus last year but for a 6 years old device still with the original battery is a great phone. And mentioning the battery: I started using it with 100% and after 2 hours and 35 minutes of continuous use (browsing the internet and sending some messages) I still have 28%. The iPhone 5s was never great on battery but it’s still ok for such an old device. I had some 200 -300 dollar range androids whose battery had depleted in one year and they were unusable after 2 years. My 5s still feels like a premium device and still does the job.

Yes, IPhones are faster than their contemporary best Android phone, BUT just by a small fraction. The SD 855 which competed with the Apple Bionic 12 was only like 10% slower in multicore scores.
Again, the one thing that IPhones have going for them is the software

People should not be saying that Apple has the best costumer support. Its like you are only focusing on the software side of things and forgetting about the hardware side. Getting an IPhone physically damaged is a hard thing to deal with because only Apple can provide service to it without voiding the warranty and they will charge you an arm and a leg for it.
IOS is a optimized, secure and stable software, that much is true, but the hardware of an IPhone is nothing that great.
