Pre-order price is usually steeper than the retail price. That is if you want to be the first one to own an 808 and you're willing to shed 600 euros then that's the deal. But everyone else can still get this phone for the regular retail price of 450 euros after a month or so. This phone's sensor full resolution is indeed 41MP. But you're never gonna use all those pixels in actual imaging since the picture is square. Maximum effective resolution is at 38MP on 4:3, and 16:9 at 32MP. You can take photos from 3MP up to 38MP. With 38MP mode you get a standard quality shots, and with Pureview mode, that is 5-8MP, you get awesome/breathtaking/out-of-this-world shots because the camera uses oversampling which still uses the full sensor but downsizes the image to 5 or 8MP. This process removes digital noise, while preserving the same level of detail you might get by shooting with the best 5/8 megapixel camera.

Camera is brilliant, i agree. But only when compared to cameraphones and compact cameras, not DSLRs. The phone itself is absolutely mediocre. I don't see the reason to pay about 800 USD. For what?

btw, shud i say this phone has 41mp cam? which is wrong thiugh. should i say 38 mp cam? Sounds odd. is it 8 mp /5 mp cam?

And no, Wave 3 doesn't have HDMI, Secure NFC, FM transmitter, USB OTG, 1080p, Dolby, free offline navigation, MEMS microphone. Actually no other phone does have all the 808 features.

Very expensive! We expect Galaxy S3 for such a price. Middle-level phone with built-in compact digital camera which costs at maximum 250 euro, comes with a cost of DSLR. 300-400 euro would be a real price for this unit.

€... moreHaha the error is in ur mind too co3error. Belle is a comparable os to Android and ios but how would u know it ! Blind andro fanboy. I too don't love symbian Anna but belle is completly different and i am in love with belle. I have Sgs 2 too that's why i am comparing both.
And i am pretty sure, Carla will beat android. I am surely gonna buy it, though i have My favourite N8 too.

I think people r jus jealous n bitter dat nokia neva adopted andriod n are stil doin wel.i hav used ( and stil luv c7 )n even though am usin a sony xperia arc,i miss my c7 teribly..in android u nid appa to do virtualy everytin,wit my c7 i cud edit photos witout apps,close n exit apps witout usin other apps.n andriod shud nt b compared to symbian cos they r too different oses wit diferent user appeals.people shud comend nokia for fightin so hard to hav come this far,if u dnt lik nokia,leave nokia who those that apreciate n jus case,am getin myself a new nokia symbian or windows fone,am done wit this andriod tin.
