Still 3xx euros or 400 dolars for a 5G device sounds great.
For companies like Samsung or Sony or Apple it will take many years untill they sell first 5G device with pricetag less than 600 bucks brand new.

Just because Mediatek released a SoC with Cortex-A77 before Qualcomm, you think they can beat Qualcomm?
Their SoCs still have shitty drivers and GPUs and are bad for custom ROMs.

And Qualcomm already have a SD 8xx with 5G, SD 7xx with 5G, so IMO they only need a SD 6xx with 5G.
Are you sure Qualcomm care about Mediatek?

Android always come on August, but phone makers need time to implement it. Sd 7xx version will come faster cause mediatek put big pressure on them. They release 3 5g socs, 1000,1000 l and 800, and soon will come soc g70 ,game friendly budget soc,for phones under 150$. Also they already have g90t which outperform 730g but cost even less sd 6xx series!

No NFC and only single SIM for $400? This is a terrible deal

Hmm...for a 5G phone, the price ain't bad. Not my cup of tea but anyone DESPERATE for 5G now with Sprint/T-Mobile, this is a welcomed device.

                        Good for Coolpad.
