      I'm thinking of buying this new phone. I would like to know opinions if it's worthy or not, and if there are other brands that provide similar specs for the same value. I currently have an HTC10 for almost 3 years but its battery is dieing and i don't think changing the battery (which may imply breaking the screen) is worthy. Thank you!

It's Time for an alternative OS (IOS an... moreApp support is the only problem which makes making alternate OS difficult, developers hesitate to work on a new platform as it will need developing from scratch and a newer OS will have only little users at first and without apps most users will hesitate to jump onto the new OS so either you will have to pay developers big money or make it easier to run apps on the new OS and Huawei only OS is not likely to succeed unless other Chinese OEMs join in

It's Time for an alternative OS (IOS and Android are Monopoly) Monopolies are bad for the consumers and for the evolution of technology (Monopolies keep the prices up and erase evolution, the global smartphone market are to big for only two OS, and this OS are based only in USA). We are living in the 2020 and not in the medieval age.

                    To the hell with the ban and Google. Keep developing your own HMS and we would be with you. It might be resources consuming but the good news is that Huawei would be the only one who will and can compete with Google.

                        If they can update existing models why not give them a bigger Kirin 710 is a decent low mid range chip so if they use this while uograding everything else like camera, battery, screen and design and price it competitively they might sell a few
                        Instead of just 8/256 if they upgraded camera to 64MP, battery to 4000mah and screen to be HDR or use OLED and price it at Redmi or Realme level at $230 it can sell
                        And they can also use kirin 970 as upper mid range
                        Launch phones with android pie and give atleast 3 years of major updates they can stay in the market

                          The reappearance of this model, in order to be successful must have at least Kirin 810, better battery than 3650 mAh( suitable will be 4500mAh with 5000mAh), OIS in all cameras if not all at least one more in the basic camera ( 40MP) and It will be more convenient fit, if the main Camera sensor will be Sony’s upcoming IMX686).                             This phone has been announced and released in egypt over 3 months ago.. besides the ram configuration it also changes the 32 mp selfie camera from the original with a 24 mp one

                                    The selfie cam now has 32 instead of 24 Megapixels in the old P30 Lite

                                      They should reduce prices on current flagships.

                                        This phone was released in Egypt 7 months ago, with the name P30 Lite New Edition, and nobody bought it also, just like the normal P30 Lite
