I've heard its a tradeoff between scratches and impact protection. And to increase both, we have to increase glass thickness.

Meanwhile, the IP ratings you mention are a mixed bag.
We have non certified phones like Xiaomi mi 9t pro that survive water without ip rating.
Then we have Galaxy S7 owners who get told by Samsung not to wet their phones again after getting it repaired lmao.

IP69 means what exactly? or better yet who's certifying these. Little bit of water was all it took to end two of them. The third was dropped, not a scratch on the outside, but something was rattling around INSIDE. Open it up and crap had fallen off the PCB.
And trying to get customer support... what the heck is that?

GG6 on a flagship device adds another 20 bucks to the final price.
Compared to panzer glass from aliexpress for example where you can buy 50 pcs for 15 bucks or single piece for 0,50.

This is a very interesting phone. I'd be seriously considering it if it had 5G. I like the add-ons, though I'm more interested in a competent battery on a phone with a decent camera and an SD card slot. I have some concerns with it being manufactured in China, but at least Lenovo isn't known for being a government shill company.

I remember GG6 was aimed at having zero scratches, even though it broke easier than GG5.
On a IP rated phone like this, there must be a reason for using GG4.

The last time I checked a Doogee review, it was, I believe not a very good quality phone in terms of display, audio and camera.
Plus the camera had a beautification mode that made men look like beautiful fairies.
So... er.. Let's check its review first, to see the progress made, right?
