Yup. keep pushing back. Meantime let Samsung and other OEM release their foldable clamshell phone. Moto still has a lot of fan but they cannot deliver what their fan wants.

If they drop the price significant I would buy it just for the cool design. Although I never ever had a Razr before I still crave to buy one. Just the price is salty. I am waiting on the next cheaper versions.

at $1700? is it because of the design?
            ahhhh the nostalgia.
specswise its just a midranger with the so called
old but gold design, isnt what iphones makes it
            expensive? the coolness lol

Overpriced? No. Apple has always sold iPhones based on coolness. Otherwise how can anyone justify paying double for an iPhone while a top of the line Moto only cost half as much?
If u think this Razr is too much that only proves u value price over coolness. Moto has plenty of low priced but high value phones for u.

Demand seems to be on the low side.

Overpriced big time. Uk network £100 up front and £99 a month. For a folding phone mir range processor and camera just because. I guessing £1500+ to buy out right. Think i will pass.

This ONLY means 1 of 2 things:
                      1. Motorola is going to realise this with much improved hardware, which isn't mid range and 2015 flagship quality.
                      OR
                      2. The quality of the screen is pretty disappointing and it needs to be re-developed.

I am guessing it's, unfortunately, its the 2nd one.

That isnt good if they need to delay on the deliver.
Not that i even care about the phone as there are few things i dont like or what dont make sense. Why does it need to have selfie camera with a notch if there is second screen with main camera ? Then the bump on the bottom that will most likely get in away when you deal with the bottom side of the screen. And welll the hardware for the price is the biggest deal breaker. for the money get 4 flagship phones from Xiaomi then 1 phone from razr that is middle class specs with nothing awesome on it and only single main camera too.
