Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite in for review

I bought this phone and I'm completely satisfied as I'm aware of processor capabilities. My one and the only disappointment is Note 10 lite doesn't have Live focus video recording. It has a Live focus photo.

Found from reviews that Note10 Lite has optical fingerprint sensor but it is still under-display and slower than dedicated rear optical FP sensor. No info yet on proximity sensor - whether it is ultrasonic/virtual one which had all sorts of issues for S10 users or the real IR hardware sensor.

Looks like Samsung finally made a decent phone again after many years.
- Is at least 76 mm wide like good old 16:9 ratio big phones, I hate very tall but narrow phones
- Telephoto, wide, ultrawide cams
- OLED with actually working Always on Display for notifications unlike the Chinese crap
- Very small, tolerable display hole, no huge notch or pop-up cam
- 3.5mm jack
- No curved edge nonsense (yay)
- Big battery, fast charging
- UFS 2.1
- Samsung gives Android updates
- Not overpriced like Samsung flagships
Only things I am not sure about are:
1. Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which may be worse than dedicated rear fingerprint (already S10's FP had issues).
2. Ultrasonic proximity sensor which may again have issues (S10 and Note 10's has too)

The 3.5mm headphone jack and non-curved screen I find it a more attractive buy than the more expensive Note 10 models, even without considering the price difference. With the stylus I find it a more attractive buy than any phones that are missing this feature (I use the stylus on my Note 8 quite frequently and wouldn't want a phone without one).

Samsung also places ads in their notification bar (Samsung Push Service and Galaxy Gift), so there's just little value. The pen is the standing feature, but its Exynos chipset is underpowered when compared to the phones above. It also throttles very quickly. I would rather get a Note 9 or used Note 10 instead.

Yes, both Note10 Lite and Note9 may have the same chipset, but you get a native ultrawide camera and latest Android version out of the box.

It cost $512.11 here in Nigeria but i think I'm gon stick longer with my A70.. probably see maybe there will be Note 11 Lite..
At that price its fair for real and Samsung has done well,but would still prefer it come with SD845 instead of the Exynos Chipset...Still great device at a great price.. Samsung got this nearly right

Though it's a lite version but the spec is pretty good. If you don't mind the waterproof IP68, it's quite a bargain compare to the steep price of flagship.

I appreciate the flat screen, and don't care about the cpu downgrade. 9810 is still good enough.
However, if you consider the PLASTIC build, a price of 630€ is nothing but a brutal rip-off. You can already get the regular Note 10 (NON-Lite) for 619€ here in Germany. Why should I pay the same (or even slightly more) for something that's clearly worse?
For 300-350€, this would be a really good deal. For 400€, still nice. Anything above that is just massively overpriced, considering the low quality PLASTIC build and the several downgrades over the Note 10.
