All you lot seem to be just interested in cameras!at the end of the day its a phone.agreed it should have 8mp minimum but i go for the best i consider as an all round device.gone are the days of symbian falling over all the time or even bricking itself.ive had both galaxy phones so far & they were awesome in their day.the 3rd incarnation is gona be massive i just know it...bring on the s3 baby!

Samsung will release the s3 with a 8MP Camera as the camera Quality is good enough...plus you have to think of power consumption i.e look at the Sony S...Good hardware spec excellent screen 12MP Camera descent quality picture....power comsuption.....POOR!
8MP on the galaxy S2...picture Quality Very good and the battery life not to bad at all. Even HTC have opted for a 8MP on their HTC One X again Camera Software and screen quality Excellent, pictures....Spot on. all in all 12MP camera is not needed on a phone.... its just another gimic to sell a phone

I wholeheartedly agree with you,I often wonder when people will dispel these pre-concieved notions! Unless someone brings along a technology like Pure View or something better,coz i really like what the Nokia Guys in their imaging department did!!
