If there are poor countries or people make them buy old SE models.
But it is stupid to make new models with old features.

I am realy getting bored of SE.
I do not want to return to Nokia again but it seems that SE will force me to do that.

These phones are digned for the "third world", like africa, south america and southeast asia.

Also, the Radio series could be a good phone for the thirdage people. They prefer the radio above the tv, so it can be a market for the radio series.

The T270 & T280 are phones like the J-series of sony ericsson. These phones are designed for the child of the thirld world.

PD: I am a latin, so im sorry if i have spelling troubles.

i don't want buy an old phone - it's going back to history (like K750). I don't now "where ..." the old phone was and who it had.
if i want, i buy the new R300 (i don't need walkman or 5 mp camera) or i buy the P3 (if i need all).

If I need a cheap phone, I will buy an old phone....

Please SE why don't you bring us something new?

For me money is not problem but each time I wait a new phones of SE I get disappointed by those low-end phones.

I do not understand why SE company does not listen to customers and see what they really need.

I guess an AM/FM Radio in a mobile is really kewl , yup it does make a big difference to me and all those who think listening to so many channels is better than keeping few songs on their memory cards , Now AM too so the choice is more . Hats off to SE , Keep it up .

Everytime I see an article on GSMARENA.COM about a new SE phone, I am eager to click on it (expecting something truly innovative), I do, and then, surprise, another set of low-to-middle-class phones! More cheap SE phones????? Aren't there already enough of those? Like Ayo said, a phone manufacturer proves what it can do by introducing innovative high-end phones. There's no going around that. No cool high-end phones = no brand name. In a world where mobile phones can take pictures that are almost as good as compact digital cameras, where we have Wi-Fi, and where some phones are true mini-computers, SE gives us phones that have AM radio and expects us to say "Wow, AM radio, coool!". I'll hold my comments on that one. It's nice to have some low-end phones in your portfolio but don't exagerate because, like Nick said, if you want a cheap phone, you can just buy an old model because sometimes you can find a really cool and capable old phone at a very tempting price, due to its age. Instead of buying these phones, I'll take some phones that SE made a few years ago without hesitating(ex.: W810i - truly an excellent phone).

I know lots of people that would love AM for one reason only: To be able to listen to the footy commentary whilst out shopping on Saturdays and Sundays.

The manufacturer must pay atention to the high-end devices, if he wants to stay in 1st liga of phone sellers. There is a crowd in the low-end segment just to name some: BenQ, Acer, Sagem... They all make good phones, but unfortunatelly they are not amongst best. Sadly SE tends to slip to their level, unless he manages to pull out really somenthing new in high-end.
