People shouldn't follow blindly like sheep whether for Apple, Sammy or anything else.... Android-fan-lady-boy (and some others) you need to get a life.
To those saying find a new cry instead of 'cheap plastic', I got SGS1 & 2 and they ARE made of cheap plastic. However, their lightness makes a huge difference - easy to carry in pockets and survived accidental drops on concrete and tiles.
Fact is could have (and should have) been made of a more QUALITY material, like kevlar if not an ultra light metal alloy. Especially the s3.
S3 4.8" screen is too big, or needs an ultra thin bezel to keep the size more manageable, or been thinner. 4G & LTE for all regions should be standard. Pentile disappointing & 1Gb is debateable, as RGB & 2Gb were achievable (esepcially for a flagship). Better camera software means 8mp is fine, though Carl Zeiss optics would have been fantastic.
But the bland, bloated, oversized, uninspired design is what leaves me sooo disappointed, especially in light of what HTC, Sony, Moto, even Huawei are doing. It's not a question of bad or good - it should have been better. You should look at it and say 'Wow, I want THAT!' without knowing the specs.
Not rushing out for this one. I might be waiting for the S4, unless HTC or Sony pull out something that ticks all the boxes, not just some.

The grossly overpriced phone is iPhone, my friend. Thats why they got over 50% of the entire smart phone profits. Its not about volume, its about the high profits they make per phone. Is a high profit phone less overpriced than a low profit phone?
