It does not bring any significant benefit - identical sound quality, maybe a bit better range (who cares, it's rock solid 10+ meters with BT 5.0 already), stability (who cares it's rock solid even in gyms, schools, markets etc.), call quality? (hardware is the issus here).
Nobody cares even for a new codec, because the phone has to support it as well ... not to mention Apple is automaticaly screwed with their policy "we only use low res, slow AAC, you don't need more ... slave!" :D

Once Sennheiser, always Sennheiser. Their sound signature is just amazing. I can even overlook some technical flaws.

anyone interested in an earbud of any kind, i suggest waiting for the ones coming late this year with Bluetooth 5.2
the new Bluetooth comes with low energy audio which is a new codec that's 300% lighter than the one before it.
all that means significantly improvement in battery life and audio quality

Finaly a fixed version of first gen. Can't wait to buy it.
Best sounding TWS finaly got more usable and comfortable.
I wonder if they still support AptX LL.
                    Goodbye Sony, welcome back Sennheiser.

Does it have really low latency so they can play Osu! just as accurate as wired headphones?

Have the version 1. Does not work with Pixel 4. Connection issues and app even stops the connection. Never again Sennheiser for me

joe nodden, 15 Mar 2020I wonder why these companies think they can charge $300 for... moreBecause they can (being a big name tech brand is almost equivalent to tech Godliness) and people still buy them (because tech believers have blind faiths.)

                              I have the 1st generation...
superior than other earphones i have heared of.
But 300 usd is too much !!!

I wonder why these companies think they can charge $300 for a pair of earbuds.

Good thing I haven't bought that first version 🤣

Wow! Sennheiser! Good news. Especially for the audiophile.
