And also, make us one with a smaller footprint, but same specs, and we'll call that the Pixel 5. But, we don't need it until October, so you get all the sales you can on the V60 until then. Oh, and you can have our camera software on your V60. There, just made the Pixels a compelling device, for once, and gave LG a leg up.

That huge square camera module with 2/3 cameras (that's so weird) at the back. That surgical instrument stainless steel frame. That 6.1 inch screen with 720p resolution. The huge price tags. Why do people even buy those phones?

Oh my God, what have those idiots done.. They ruined the phone completely.. Well, it's not gonna be a Huawei device for me this year.. Also Samsung screwed up monumentally this year.
I guess I'm back to waiting for the iPhone 12 Pro Max - hopefully they won't screw up too.. If they do then it's 2021 for me..

Perhaps you should re-read comments a couple of times and considering the context. You're not someone I answer to, so live with it. I'll be doing what I please, they're my comments. They may we'll send them to Europe, but they will not sell well. That's a given. No idea where you are from, but I know very few people that would pick this over a device that isn't gimped. Are there workarounds, yeah. Though I doubt those that don't frequent tech sites would bother with that. Indeed, many here wouldn't bother either (as half will dismiss it as the bootloader is locked). It effectively becomes a niche device. And that assumes that most like the design/form factor, which may or may not be the case. Huawei has had a fair bit of bad press over here (UK), not terrible, but not overly positive either. The device will likely do very well elsewhere, particularly in countries like China.
Why should I trust you, lol, you have proved to be less than cordial? What I will do, cos I'm nice, is allow you the freedom to post your opinion, however ill informed it may be.
In conclusion, I'd like to reaffirm my previous comments. These device won't sell well in Europe, or Worldwide, for obvious reasons. Though, as I said, I do think that the extra competition would help. Without Google Play Services, they are a non starter, and that's without the fact that many Europeans are not currently rushing out to buy much except toilet paper.

I might quickly make a pattern of that before the whole phone industry steal it from me, yes, it is that perfect !
