Gio, 09 May 2012I really don't think so, the materials from smsung make it ... moreI weren't saying that its going to be made like samsung. I'm just saying that it looks similar to the SGS2. I have experience the Xperia S, using daily and that doesn't feel more expensive than the SGS2 as the back is very flimsy. Feels more secure as if you drop it if feels like it wont have a problem but hopefully this will be made differently.

This actually looks similar to the SGS2. You can't deny it. Look at the edges. The only differences begin where the buttons at the button are and where the ear piece and logo is. Obviously the size of the phone but the design is very similar. Even the back has the bump for the camera. Not saying its a bad design just to those people who are saying its not like "Samsungs Cheap Design". There are similarities, look at what I said at the edges, camera bump and overall design :).

Look at moto (dont like the design but they went for something different with the RAZR), not massively selling but was refreshing to see. Curved edges and 4.8" isn't new but is better then old Galaxy design. Specs and benchmarks are very promising but lets see Sony's new toy and their benchmarks to see what competition Samsung has as they have blew the One series out of the water only challenger on benchmarks is the new Meizu phone but doubt that is going to be a big hit internationally. Lets wait and see what Sony can produce now. Looks very very promising :).

Sony already makes samsung path hard to walk thru for 2012.. maybe gx version will go world wide.. i hope.. and i will buy it...

GX is a good looking phone, and if it's got an S4 under the hood it'll be a great package but... that's a whole lot of bezel :( which leads me to believe this phone is quite big. Guess only time will tell if i'm right

its gonna be hard to beat the GS3 and GS2 even now...the design of the GS# is not that good but the specs is more than AWESOME!!! to beat samsung GS3 the should build a phone with great design and better specs than GS3 besides the GS3 is not the Samsung final beast you can be suprised what will samsung do...samsung phones have amazing specs but i think they should improve design

Would be stupid not to release such a device worldwide.
BTW: The Ion has an older CPU (S3), where as the Xperia comes with the new more powerful S4!
