iPhone gets 16 gigs worth of storage

Wow, now a days 16GB is a bit much for a phone in the US, even 8GB is alot. I have an 8GB and I got it around a week and a half before this became official. But I'm not gonna return my 8GB for this. Oh and to those who say the audio quality sucks, try using a different brand other than apples stock earbuds. The iPhone has outstanding audio capabilities, as well as ipods. I have the V-Moda Vibe Duo headphones, which also had a mic on them and they sound superb.

How heavy is this thing going to be ? Why do we need to have 16gb of music ? If the camera was of decent quality and recorded video it might be justified.

Heh...what do you expect? Steve Jobs is a master of marketing...I got my wife one and she loves it. However, for me, it's useless. I can't even use GPS navigation without having to customize and hack my way to get it free. I jailbroke and unlocked my wife's and that was enough. I didn't even update it from 1.0.2 yet...I'd imagine that he'd sell way more if he offered it unlocked everywhere. But then again, it wouldn't be as controversial or elusive as it is today. Oh well...

apple just entered the mobile world. But dont expect tht u cant beat sony ericsson or any other brand. Stick to ur ipod etc.... your iphone sucks big time .....

the only reason people are hating on the iphone is because they are very hyped and people are expecting too much.. calm down people. its a Iphone... ipod+ phone..
and no. sidekicks doesnot= iphone. sidekicks are cheap plastic, crapppy screen, useless battery life. and worth nothing.

Whoever said the sound quality on the ipod classic sucks? Its the quality of the headphones that are bad not the ipod itself. I have an ipod classic but I use a different brand of headphones and the sound is great!!
On the iphones I'd say do what you'd do with a computer system, wait a year or so until they have a better, more reliable version that will probably have more features, less problems and better capacity

seems like apple is trying to make easy money, but honestly i disagree with many of you. the phone is very overrated, but i give them some props. the phone has the best screen ive seen, big and bright, also stands up great vs scratches, looks nice, and thin.

serious? how are u even gonna try to compare anything to a sidekick? sidekicks are nothing but a teens phone. useful for nothing but txt and aim. and true indeed, to americans, the iphone is the biggest thing, bcuz nokia doesnt focus very much on america, wen i went to asia, they're nokia stores on every block. n95 is great, but 3g is useless and dumb if u cant even type the web address, same time it takes to type it is the same time it takes for edge to load, but as many of you, i await the new nokia touch which should make an appearance at a mobile convention this month
