Aren't Apple copying other Android devices these days? For Ex-Dual Core CPU, 8 MP Camera, drop down notification, larger display etc. Now may be iphone 5 will come with quad core and a larger display of 4''

Apple products a... moredude i agree with most of your points , except that maybe you are not aware of the fact that the production costs for iphone and ipad are extraordinarily low. apple over exploit their workers with outrageously low wages and hazardous working conditions(which has resulted in suicides many a time).but they charge nearly three times the amount it took to manufacture their device(eg., manufacturing cost of iphone4 was about 178 dollars and apple was charging 550 dollars for it during launch).that is why apple owns 73 percent of the mobile profits when they own just 8.8 percent of the mobile market.

Samsung, Apple, Apple, Samsung. Apple suing Samsung for design looks and Samsung suing for royalties over its patents on wireless technology. Why are they even bothering, as everyone knows the iphone and IPad use chips made by, Samsung. Samsung could play really dirty and stop supplying chips as of. Then Apple would have to think twice how it treated other companies. Also if you have good looks isn't it not supprising everybody wants some.

AnonD-619, 25 May 2012the only thing i see android users bragg about is ROMS cuz ... moreif u have never used an android device and are making assumptions on the basis of what users say,then there's really no point discussing anything with you. i had an iphone4 for one and a half months and i admit that its a bit smoother than gingerbread phones. but ics,in my opinion, is better than ios. and i havent rooted my s2. and i did not get my iphone jailbroken either(i didnt bother,as i knew i could'nt keep a phone that dropped signal so oftenly). aonther point i and i think most others(judging by the no. of android subscriptions)would agree is that though the quality of apps may not be as good as those of ios,we prefer free apps over paid ones. and most of the free apps on ios are stupid ones like birthday reminders,cooking dishes,tab keeping,health management. i hardly could find decent free games in the app market. that photo shop app costs 14.99 dollars!!!! are you kidding me!!! most of us are reluctant to pay 0.99dollars,let alone 15 times that amount!

I think Samsung is the true manufacturing giant of electronics! and therefore places them at the forefront to produce electonic handhelds. Apple is just a company that is trying to satisfy a market segment for the rich and infamous, those types of people who want to stand out only because of a percieved misconception of society, and that what you own puts you in this lime light that 'you are the shit'like some above users posted the iphone is just all glamour..samsung can give you the technology you need and more.

Oh and a quick comment to those defending Apple and saying they are the only true innovators.Find the video on Youtube of the Steve Jobs interview where he openly admits plagiarising other peoples ideas and that "his" best ideas are not actually "his".
For example copying the first GUI from Xerox and reverse engineering the first Sony Walkman to give Apple the technology they needed to make their first handheld devices.

Those who have better sense of technology only that can recognise the Samsung Galaxy series smartphone either galaxy s 2, ace, y, m, r, pro etc. Android is actually for advance user not for the apple kid.

Now I'm no lawyer or anything and I can see that all this is just to obtain the competitive advantage on the market.
Alas.
Apple and Samsung..
really should bite the bullet.
They have both 'stolen' idea, products and features off each other.
It's probably costing both companies millions..
then again they have the $$$ and time to waste..
what else would they do with there time?

the only thing i see android users bragg about is ROMS cuz the default it comes with is laggy and experience is not that great.....i do myself love the ROMS from devs but dats abt it............PERIOD the apps r crap even though it does have some iOS apps but the quality is crap try fruit ninja for eg...another reason is resale value android phones looses its resale value in no time....not only resale but also market value....where as iPhone...it barely drops
yeah may be majority of people get an iPhone cuz its simple nd elegant but there r bunch of guys who use it cuz they like to tweak it......jailbreak.Almost 100-200 of apps release in cydia be it themes,addons,tweaks etc etc and on top of that iOS got the best App store with quality apps everywhere u dont want pay for apps? then get it frm cydia/installous.....at he end of the day iPhone users get a balanced device that everyone can use noobs,guys who like it simple nd organized,geeks/tweakers who want to jailbreak nd have unlimited fun nd test iPhone to its limits
