Samsung premium series like note and galaxy s are good but they really lack speed compared to qualcomm snapdragon processors , please consider 855/865 chipsets for such premium phones . I am using note 8 and Asus zenfone 5z i could make out difference easily,the later is equipped with snapdragon 845 chipset

Samsung ? Nowadays when i heard samsung brand....i felt like hearing the second or third tier brand with an expensive price.......SUPER DISSAPPOINTED with NOTE 10 PLUS and S20 ULTRA.....such an expensive PHONE WITH A VERY BAD CELLULAR SIGNAL......so im not really looking forward for other expensive but UNUSABLE phone.....lost the essential of what phone supposed to be....for CALLING PEOPLE......if i want a super camera...i will bought camera instead, NOT a phone

It's like ppl complaining about mi phones getting latest Android version a little late, sure you might not have latest version first like Pixel series but most of the features implemented on the latest Android were incorporated from Miui and Samsung and other Chinese skins.
The latest version is reduced to nothing but a marketing gimmick. Ppl continue to fall for it.
Besides, no Android user will ever get bored with the mountain of customizations available.
You would get bored with iOS though.

It still wouldn't hurt them to push updates to make your phone fresh and "secure". People are easily bored these days. And for your information, I have used Apple in the past but right now I have a Samsung phone and tablet.

Peace of mind is an illusion for iOS uses. Most of these guys can be hacked using a simple phising link. Remember fappening? They didn't need a giant security hole to exploit iOS users. Stop worrying about threats that have very small chance of affecting the end user.
Security updates are extremely overrated.

If you are on iOS in the first place, you will appreciate updates because these features will be NEW to iOS. There is also the matter of security. Software is always exploitable and longer updates will give you peace of mind in this more and more digitally bound world. It doesn't mean you are definitely going to get hacked without security updates but nothing is impossible.

Don't need that junk with throttled and inefficient Exynos chipset, cameras with failing AF, and display that initially came with issues (green tint, or in isolated cases, severe flickering).
US price's may exceed an iPhone 11 Pro Max (or even 12 Pro Max), maybe with the same amount. Let the S-Pen be its saving grace.

Maybe he has one of those J-Series Samsungs and wants updates like a Flagship. just pointing out, huawei's mid-range also doe snot get any security updates. At least Samsung's A-Series has quarterly Updates
