How many of the peoples who like this idea think that pop up mechanism is "moving parts", "fragile", "have wear issue", "is not waterproof" etc ?

LG is driving their smartphone division into the ground and it's painful to watch.

Interesting, new ideas for extra cash. $750 a basic mid-ranger + $200 for the extra mini display and mechanism + $100 for the cool T factor = $1050 for the new mid-ranger and its amazing macro and depth sensors!!! Wohoo. If you want a flagship edition $1350 No updates expected. Ding, ding, ding.

Love it. Tired of the same designs of each and every brand. LG and Sony are my only hope now.

It would make a LOT more sense to have the keyboard part in landscape and the display part in portrait, as many apps does not support landscape or does so very poorly with a lot of scrolling, and horizontally stretched space between elements.
A horizontal keyboard is also a lot less cramped.

Dual Screen means more battery drawing. I think LG should instead launch slider phones with QWERTY Keyboard.
