A $1000 55-inch 4K TV is not affordable... TCL and other established brands are selling these kinds of TV since 2018 at half the price. Some are even priced at $399.

Don't go with specification shown.. i have MI 4k tv bough recently and sony tv 720p bought 5 years back.. if i compare both sony gives best experience..
stop depending on this high spec cheap price goods.. go with the good brands.

For anyone reading this article from the US or the EU it will be a ROFL moment. This is where marketing spiel will force the Indian consumers to beleve that $1000 USD is a "cheap" price for a 55" that is NOT top of the line TV. Compare the specs and understand what OnePlus offers...it's not bad but it's nothing fancy at all. And they pulled a solid apple here, by not supplying a simple stand with the $1000 TV, what a sad self goal.
Let this be a lesson to anyone thinking of moving to TV...get your own TVs from a better place because buying TVs in India is a...Sin.
Also FYI, 69.990 is ~$928 and 99990 is ~$1326 at today's currency exchange rates (and a little higher on the INR if you use the banks' exchange rates). The INR's value has fallen badly in the past few months but even in Sep 2019 1k USD did not equate to 69,990 INR.

Viv, 08 Jun 2020I got a 55' smart 4K for $268 US (new). $1000 is dumb.Yea and yours doesn't do HDR right. Probably so bad input lag when gaming. Not brightness of sub 350. You get what you pay for. There is a reason why they have pricier tvs. Better HDR better input lag better refresh rate better contrast, local dimming for leds . Makes a world of difference

"Affordable"... Lol. My 75" 4K was $1700. And it got got rave reviews. My 55" 4K that I bought 5yrs ago was $1400... OnePlus needs to look at the new market and understand what "affordable" means. Lol

Viv, 08 Jun 2020I got a 55' smart 4K for $268 US (new). $1000 is dumb.The 4K tv you have doesn’t have a good panel compared to the more expensive ones. This is an OLED tv, I have an LG OLED and it’s an incredible tv, much, much better than my 350$ 4K tv.
