Huawei has produced great devices in last two three years like Huawei Honor 8(which was great alternative to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge/S7), Huwaei Honor View 10(Which was great alternative to One Plus at that time), Huawei Mate 9, Mate 10X,Honor 7X and Honor 9X too along with Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei P30 Pro. Only thing worries me now is no Google apps and no unlocking bootloader. That's the only cons about Huawei right now. Their chipsets are fantastic. Kirin 810 and Kirin 820 are fantastic chipsets. Sadly we are not getting these options anymore.

The time Mate 40 is released is the time I upgrade my phone. I can't wait for that Huawei goodness.

Would be nice upgrade for Honor Magic 2. But if it comes with display cutout, it is a big no-no for me and I will skip it.

I just hope that the Mate 40 Pro will retain that same excellent photo quality as last year's Mate 30 Pro. That is my all-time favourite Huawei device ever.

The real king smartphone is coming up ...
And no problem about GMS: These are installed without any issues as I have them on my Mate 30 Pro since december, 2019 and working fine !!! :-)

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2020Specs can be excellent but what about Google play services?... moreit may sound like an disadvantage, and the first week it is, but you get used to it very quickly as there are enough apps and services that do their job as good and some of them even way better than googles apps and services. So if this goes on it could very quickly get very ugly for google.

Specs can be excellent but what about Google play services? Its the only disadvantage.
