I am living in Dubai where people from different countries lives here and i used to travel by metro daily for work and ive noticed majority of the people using Blackberry, Iphone and Nokia, hardly see people using Samsung, Htc etc... I am crazy about mobiles and im currently using Blackberry 9900 and galaxy note, my eyes always sets on what kind of mobile peoples use. I can say majority of the people here using Iphone and Nokia and Blackberry as a substitute.

i used to own galaxy R which is similar to S2 only few minor changes (Downgrade) and i was shock when my phone wasnt listed to receive ICS although it has the same hardware then i switched to S2 and i deeply wish i didnt upgrade to ICS its totally Bull S!@# laggish and hang worst battery life ever although in GSMarena review they claim that the battery has improved and i dont know whats the big deal about the ICS upgrade!!! nothing to mention the multitasking interface changed and the stupid faceunlock which i was thrill about it in the beginning then i read news here in GSMarena.com saying that its not secure some guy unlocked the phone using his picture from another phone ... now i cant afford S3 and if thats the concept in Android i have to buy new phone with each upgrade its ridiculous!!! maybe i will get S3 but only if im sure its stable with the next Android software otherwise i will get WP8 or iPhone 5

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2012So Funny, the Man said Naive and u just assumed its iOS!!! ... moreFirst, summarizing my line of thought: CodeGEN called 10 million Android flagship buyers naïfs. I said, "now iOS does has a full bunch of naïf users, Android median user is usually pedantic but not naïf. You must really ignore what naïf is." I never assumed iOS was what the man referred to by saying 'naive', I knew from the beginning he was talking about Android. I spoke my opinnion and I don't really get what your argument is here.

Second. I was the proud owner of a SGS2 until I left it in a cab (mea culpa, I'll regret all my life, etc...). So I have used Android and I know it's up to you to find out which app is safe in the Play Store. It's Google's bad, they should balance safety and freedom in a better way. What pisses me off is Apple using the 'unsafe' shield to void any app that lowers their control on the end consumers or makes 'unauthorized' features available. You could be enjoying a good bunch of iOS 6 features many years ago, but Apple won't let you.

Got different kind f ppl sayin differently for different devices... Well iphones r legend that everyone knows n its universal fact... I m not a fan of iphone or any apple product but thz z truth... Also for every legend, a legend killer is born who snatches the title of legend from it so it seems that samsung r the legend killers which now steal the opportunities from apple... Nokia on the other hand r boring all its previous n upcoming phones r boring nothing special but i really liked a device N9 with MEEGO whom they murdered by WPs well still no class or improvement... Rest all looks more like samsung due to presence of android OS but afterall lot f ppl may look lyk the king but the king is only one n the 10 million units speaks it all... Smartphone of the year surely its none other than Galaxy S3....

                                  Correction - SE W8 + a couple of 2011 SE phones won't receive ICS.

Well, if you are that desperate to get the uncooked ICS which is laggy as hell since the specs won't able to cope with OS and many have already complained about.

Besides, GS2 has received a proper ICS update A MONTH ahead of Xperia S. Your call?

That resolution already put the phone to dead, the design second dead point, and lastly the use OS is push it to no sales horizon.
