Just had this RC1 release for my GT-P1000 right after i had the previous version of knightly, i must say i got the feel again using my old GT-P1000...the signal migration from wifi to simcard was better and smooth and now they had separate icon....with this RC1 version CM9/4.0.4 i wont change to other honeycomb or ics tablet....it is wortth every penny to support those guys at Cyanogen and hell yeah this is why Samsung recruit them to get involve developing they upcoming product. Great Job fellas

Just installed it and nice UI. At first I got lost about the other details on how to configure it. Anybody installed it? I also can't access my "MY FILES" Folder. I installed it properly twice already but still the folder that I mentioned can't be accessed and I don't know why? Now I got back to my other custom ROM (VK 5.1.2).

AnonD-1061, 27 Jun 2012You know, you don't have to use Android if you hate it so m... moreI use it as my secondary device. When I don't have anything to do and have some time to waste then only I use Android. Using it as my primary os like using a bicycle to go to my office.
And I have used CM. Sorry it's full of bug. But it's too overhyped, that's what good about it. And it's ideal for flash junkies.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2012what about Nexus One.......!!!!CM team officially announced they MAY release CM9 for older devices like Nexus One and Desire, if they get proper drives. But unfortunately, Qualcomm has not released the drivers for their chip sets for ICS, so it's still not clear that if there will ever be an official CM9 build for those devices.

But, CM7 will continue to develop for devices that are not getting CM9, and CM7.2 has many back ports from ICS, so you're not left out very much.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2012What is this "ROM"? So is this cyanoged mod versi... moreIMO it's better then stock brandded ROMs. But there may be some functionality in stock that is not available in CyanogenMod. Like some codec support, camera modes, etc.

ithehappy, 27 Jun 2012So the RC of BIGGEST hype of Android is out :/You know, you don't have to use Android if you hate it so much. No one's forcing you.

For me, I've been running CM9 for my devices as soon as they were available for my devices and they couldn't have been more awesome.
