The thing that annoy me MOST about samsung phone is their own custom apps and their galaxy app store. They lack the polish and refinement that google apps deliver. If samsung could deliver a near stock software like oneplus, they will be the best android manufacture to beat. Sadly it's not so. Especially a note with stock android would be a note on steroids! Regarding privacy issues of google, as long as you don't run any spy agency, I don't think there's anything to be worried. Its much ado about nothing..!

They already have the choice not to use it and to replace it with google's product if they want to. No need to take choices out of market.

Good riddance. And to think they gave it its own hardware button and tried to force everyone using it. Somehow they thought they are better at software than Google. It takes Google to beat at least some sense into Samsung. But guess what, the Exynos issue is orders of magnitude worse than Bixby. But Sammy management has repeatedly proven they don't have enough grey matter to realize that.

As much as everyone seems to hate on Samsung's Bixby and complain over their own app store, that would actually be the reason I'd go with Samsung. I don't like Android because it's so god damn dependent on Google spyware junk and all phones are infested with it. And I wouldn't even have an issue if Google was selling devices and services like Apple does. They sell YOU. And don't say "But you can go with other ROM". Yeah, and have none of banking apps work because they want locked bootloader. And no I'm not gonna d**k around with Magisk. Also all the endless garage baked ROM's are unreliable and have questionable life span.

Always Good to have Competitors. Specially in this Technologies where there is no options left other then signing up, Controlling the market with additional requirements which compromise the Privacy and No other better or unwanted features.
Monopoly is not good be in Technology or Politics.

And needs to keep pushing their own service. If One day the huawei situation hits them, they will be prepared already. I don't like people forcing others to use their own things. It's an monopoly. People just find them as an bloatware,but in reality some of them could be better than Google's own services. They are just popular, popular and overhyped doesn't always mean better. I hope Samsung keeps pushing their own service. So one day we can see a rival from :
1. Apple's IOS
2. Google's Stock Android
3. Huawei's Harmony OS
4. Samsung Mobile Services
Having more competition and options is great. Competition pushes innovation and forces companies to work harder to appeal to customers. And we, as a customers win as a whole.

Also on watches drop tizen and go for android for better integration.

I have to admit that bixby is one reason that has put me off Samsung series. Google Assistant is good and would be a smart move
