While Huawei share in China is 44% with higher price tag and xiaomi 19%. That difference in 25% alone in china (assume shipped phone is same in both country) can beat 30% in india because of Huawei mostly sell with higher price.

For sure it is china nationalism with such its big population. I know many Chinese people, most likely they nationalism is high (and smart too). Samsung need to carefully adjust its price since the leap of technology is not high, cycle of people change its phone at low level, and the other non huawei china phone is highly competitive.

meanwhile huawei is focused on their P40 series, and even then their mid ranger prices are nowhere near as low as mi's, nor do they have as a large market for said mid rangers as xiaomi
tldr one wouldd be surprised in general if they heard someone bought a xiaomi flagship rather than one of their mid rangers, but this is not the case for huawei

Last article I read about Huawei being top smartphone was last early June where they became number 1 for only a month. You all do know May is Q2, right? And we are already entering mid Q3.

They should present actual sales to data (not mere market share nor growth) for top 10 manfucturers for the past 5 years, by regional markets. Then you can make appropriate analysis and conclusion.

So basically this article says Huawei is still selling well in China (patriotism... they need to support the company that provides them with jobs after all plus they never used GMS anw) while it's dying fast in the rest of the world. So good news for everyone. Huawei is still alive and makes money but it's disappearing from Europe, India (and US). So everyone's happy.

I own IPhone 11 Pro Max and XS Max, I can say it with confidence after using Mate 20 Pro for more than a year(Honor 10 & Nova 3) that Huawei makes THE BEST MOBILE PHONES than any of its Global Competitors, especially flagship ones. It is a real pity they are being sidelined due to Chinese Government policies and their expansionists policies.
