This is rectangular camera design done right.
Looks so premium.
Regular Note 20 is Meh! and subpar at that price.
But the Note 20 ultra is interesting.
Might be Worth paying for this phone for people who want something above Rs.100k (despite the Exynos) over some ugly camera design sporting overrated iPhone pro Max.

thought for an upgrade but now giving it a pass.. can't take more of Exynos and that too spending more than 1L on a non Snapdragon Phone.. Sorry Samsung!!

For me that was it - I'm done with Sammy for good.

Many people could keep it for three years if it is not a flagship which are the most selling ones. If your get 2 years security updates it will be fine. Flagship get easily three plus years of updates (Not upgrades). Frequent upgrades only can make average users using the mobile confusing. Software cannot make the old phone look new. After getting used for two years you don’t want the mobile phone interfaces to change, especially non techie users and older people which is one of the reasons iPhones are very popular among old people since iOS kept the overall interfaces quite same for longer periods. Even iOS updates are not really felt and seen by everyone except for very few. Software patches, security updates are done in most of the branded Android OEMs and it is a must for minimum 18 months. After that bugs will not be there much and security patches can run for 2 years plus....and most users change their mobiles after that in any case!

I have k20 pro and it got android 10 update a month before even pixel phones get the update. It is crazy right?

Actually, they will be launching the Zenfone 7 & 7 Pro in about a month with Snapdragon 865/ 865+, 5000 mAh batteries, quad cameras for around € 400- 500.

It's a concept in Asian countries where they don't want to be belittled in front of their own people. If they launched the Exynos 990 specced Note there, there would be comparisons with SD 865 & even if the differences are minor, Samsung's processors will forever be considered inferior.
The Exynos 990 is a bit inferior to the Snapdragon BUT in terms of performance, it would only be noticeable when you are doing those app opening speedtests, or some crazy inspection. Otherwise for most of the time, for 99% of the population, the difference doesn't matter.
Although in terms of battery life, the Exynos variant has around 20% lower battery than the Snapdragon variant, but if you want the Samsung Note finesse, with the S-pen, Super AMOLED display, excellent cameras..you don't have much choice if your country is stuck with it.

It is double whammy for the consumers. Fortunately Note20 Ultra will reduce its prices by 20%-25%in three months since no one would buy.

I will never buy a Sammy phone ever again. They don't even use their own exynos chip in their own home country - they use the SD865+ chip. Instead they dump the exynos garbage in Europe. Oh my God.
I had iPhones many years ago but changed when their cameras were bested by other brands. They actually have great cameras now again and with the iPhone 12 Pro Max coming up it might be a good phone to get - I mean it might even be cheaper than the Sammy phones. I never thought I would see an android phone costing more than an iPhone. Weird world we live in.

Samsung won't even use their garbage Exynos chip in their own home country - they use SD865+ in their own country, while dumping their Exynos garbage in Europe..
