the promise of the EKG function for Active 2 international version becomes a good incentive to buy Watch 3 asap (sarcasm).
At least they did it for S.Korea, but as many of Samsung acclaimed products (cough: Bixby or Samsung Pay) they are more of a marketing stunt than a real product for most of the world.

You can measure the blood pressure with watch active 2 in UK using app My BP Lab. Also it can be calibrated by proper blood pressure equipment for the best results.

If it's not medical approval why all the markets don't have this?
It's like a toy function anyway, only specialized medical stuff can read properly ekg!

Pttw, 07 Aug 2020Not bothered about the Galaxy watches until ECG is activate... moreTechnically it isn't Samsung who has to do the testing in your country, it's some bureaucracy who's supposed to do that. I guess, Samsung has always been really poor at greasing those. Which should be a good thing, but it's unfortunate for consumers as it stifles competition.
