YUKI93, 18 Aug 2020I definitely miss ASUS Zenfone Zoom and Samsung Galaxy S4/K... moreLook at Sony RX100.
The module is too big for a phone.
Larger sensor needs larger/thicker lenses, produce more heat and cost way more.

Just these sensors have between 9 - 12mm diagonal, also the module is even wide/taller.

Phone like Samsung K Zoom has just 1/2.3" sensor, but that huge system like pocket cameras (also 1/2.3") ....

What's with the awful HDR tone mapping?

Shui8, 18 Aug 2020I rather have 1 big main sensor optically from 28-85mm inst... moreI definitely miss ASUS Zenfone Zoom and Samsung Galaxy S4/K zoom. They really went nuts with the camera and I definitely loved them. Shame that people aren't really buying into the whole idea.

I'd love to see a modern-day iteration of either phone with a 1" sensor and 4x or 5x or even 10x optical zoom.

P.S The Sony QX10 and QX30 should be mentioned as well although they are technically a lens-type camera for smartphone.

Welcome back, ASUS Zenfone Zoom. You finally got the recognition you should deserve.

I rather have 1 big main sensor optically from 28-85mm instead. Another one 3D ToF. Not so much into UWA, but of course if included, a bonus.

Chinese OEMs are the only ones that bring innovation in the table !

All these chinese phone companies are simply the best. There is one popular YouTuber who has millions of subscribers literally says the xiaomi mi 10 ultra is the best flagship device he has used. It seems he prefers miui 12 to iOS. And he is biased towards Apple. As a pro max user.
