It's interesting because there are lot of articles floating around at the moment "what is Sammy's key to success", "19m GS3s sold..."
Against the backdrop of...
"HTC's profits tumble - 57% less than last year.."
And why is this?
It's because Sammy are listening to their market and customers and delivering on what they want...
Nokia's failing? Failing to listen to the millions of people wanting apps and a slicker OS...
HTC's failing? (and Sony's) TAKING AWAY features in 2012 such a micro SD, etc. - thinking that they can dictate to their customers what they want... and in Sony's case - ignoring the market completely and releasing phones with last year's specs - THIS YEAR...
Sammy's success? BUILDING UPON WHAT PEOPLE WANT year after year after year... quad core, 4.8" screens, added value, faster, bigger, better, more memory, more power... this is what Android users want - and this is what Sammy is giving to them in BUCKETS...
For me? I want something different this year, I had a GS1 and GS2 - the GS3 for me is not different enough to warrant the upgrade... I'm going to wait until the Nexuses land at the end of the year.. or.. if they've sufficiently reduced the size of it, go for a Note 2...
There really is no other option re: manufacturer if you want the best specced phone!

That huge profit had to be for Nokia,if they didn't being suborn and adopt Android.
I averse Microsoft's agent and puppet Stephan Flop.

screw you sammy, you earn a lot yet you still provide buggy firmware on note, s2 and even the gtab 7.7..

Nice work, but the phones are itself very fragile and cheap looking....although packed with features, just like a Chinese low leel market phone

Whatever it is Samsung will always make profit either by selling phones or by selling chips to Apple. Samsung profit all the way.
Nokia should have taken up Android to see this kind of Sun Shine.

Samsung has more following than I imagined. Did not expect the phone to sell this much looking at its design and materials. Spec wise it is amazing no doubt.
