I get what he means.
Samsung = GALAXY branding. Galaxy, Then Galaxy S, Then Galaxy S2, Then Galaxy S3. Flagship model uses the same branding.
Apple = iPhone. followed by numbers on each release (and an s).
HTC = Keep messing around with their flagship phone names. Desire, sensation, One series etc
Sony = Similar. X10, X2, S??? no progression of branding etc.
Galaxy and Iphone are now household names assosiated to their makers. not so with other device manufacturers (as much) to those who are not necessaraly phone buffs.

in terms of design, why not put the see through strip around the phone like a frame.. hehehehe maybe that would be cool?

I will change only my Sony Xperia S when Sony release their quad-core flagship smartphone especially if it's using a quad-core S4 krait A15 processor with 4.7" or 4.8" screen. HTC has already rumored that their next flagship phone (after HTC did not make a good sale of their first quad-core HTC One X)will use the quad-core S4 krait CPU. Even Sony is going to use the dual-core S4 krait which is according to some reviews, this dual-core S4 krait is faster than the Tegra 3 quad-core, still consumers are always looking for the very latest hardware. We all know that quad-core is not necessary at this stage as far as apps are concerned, but this is the secret of Galaxy S2 (dual-core) and Galaxy S3 (quad-core) why Samsung sold millions of these 2 models alone. They always advance in releasing smartphones whether dual-core or quad-core is necessary because this is what people needs just to say that they have the latest and powerful hardware. I think that's what Sony is going to do as well. Samsung is always tagged having ugly design (no so really) while Sony is always tagged having the most beutiful and innovative design, but what is more important - Design or Sales? And Sony is always releasing their smartphones always behind with the latest OS. There's a big difference getting the latest OS out of the box than a promise to get the latest OS and waiting for 3 moths or so and this is whay Sony is always doing with their smartphones, like X10, Xperia Arc/S and then Sony Xperia S. I having using Sony(ericsson) phones since 7 years but this is always the case. It just so happened that I can't take to use Samsung. I'd rather go for HTC.

am using sony xperia s... sony really punched out some serious action with their flagship device...n i think 1.5 ghz dual core 4.3 inch screen n even 12mp cam...is more dan enough for a smartphone... hope dis device beats all

Who here prefers mhl and who prefers micro hdmi port' and why.
I prefer micro hdmi cause the adaptor is tiny and doesnt need power unless i chose to charge it when i feel like it. mhl need a big adapter and non stop power.

If they possibly and unlikely use the Krait Quod Core with the Adreno 320 we have the phone of the year and my next phone as well. Please Sony come to the show and bring something worthwhile. I have always adored Sony and Sony Ericsson but do like Top spec phones so they never have anything available to my liking
