Sony should have 1Ghz clock speed and 1GB RAM for mid range phones.

OMG, some people on this site are some mind numbingly thick.

So frustrating to be in an industry with people who can't differentiate between thier own wants and needs, vs what the market requires.

                        ahhhhhh!

                              # Sony's naming system is flummoxing. It is widely known that LT, MT and ST stand for Large, Medium and Small Touch respectively. Xperia P with 4" display was code-named LT22i, whereas Xperia Neo L with the same 4" display was code-named MT25i. Now, Xperia J with the very same 4" display is code-named ST26i. Puzzling indeed.

                              # Xperia J must be the first Sony phone without the Sony Ericsson's liquid energy logo. I don't know why Sony had decided to scrap it off, but the logo really was appealing on the Sony(Ericsson) phones.

                              # No matter how optimized, outdated hardware(Adreno 200 GPU) is certainly a negative. Sony seems to be persisting with the outdated hardware for way too long and it might pay heavily as well for that.

AnonD-26095, 11 Jul 2012Sonny doesn't make any sens, they are just doing it like No... moreit is indeed a low spec phone but sony sure know what they are doing. it is confirmed that this phone will mainly targets at chinese market which alot ppl there do not need that high-end phones unlike what Americans demand. There are not many cheap Android phones out in the market with good quality. I guess Sony will target there with the cheap price and fairly good quality android phone. In my opinion it's a good strategy since the chinese demand for phones are huge.

They named it J because it looks similar to old Sony J series phones before they joined up with Ericsson
