All this talk of MeeGo is hilarious. Stop trying to get someone to take up this crappy OS. Nokia bailed on it for a reason, you really think Amazon are going to use it? LOL

z, 12 Jul 2012meego and android look 99.99% the same..... Shows how little you know about the real MeeGo. You're probably basing that off the N9 which still looks almost nothing like Android and it isn't even true MeeGo. Have fun in your Android bubble.

the fire tactics wont work as well with phones, since a phone needs a decent camera, good screen, all the connectivity, all the sensors, and so on... a stripped out phone is not what the consumer wants.

If Amazon truly wants to compete, they'll use MeeGo as the OS. They can use android as a side OS but if they use MeeGo as the primary OS, They can jumpstart a true competitor to Android.

The Amazon market can grow with MeeGo as well.

Android is oversaturated but MeeGo can be the new fresh OS along with Amazon that can help seperate them from the rest.
