Apart from the fancy screen-graphics this is a very primitive phone so why would anyone bother with it?

What the heck? If the iPhone was capable of running third party apps since the day of its release, why didn't Apple distribute the software freely from the start? Hmmm... another of those fancy marketing strategies from Apple I suppose.

First, the transition of monochrome iPod to the 160GB iPod Classic.
Next, iPhone memory 8GB to 16GB in less than a year.
Now, free distribution of software which was once closed-source.

Shame on you, Apple and Steve Jobs!

Apple opening up the Iphone and starting a service for developers to sell their software.

Google offering 10.000 dollars for developers of the new Android OS.

Symbian Signed blocking regular users from certificating new programs without an ID.

        Shame on you Nokia!
