      I just bought a Galaxy Tab A 2019 with S-Pen , only complain is the 3Gb ram.
      Thinking of maybe returning it if this turns out to be not too expensive.
      -> How expensive do you think this Active 3 is going to be (USD)?

                Samsung always comes with new and innovative products.But, they have failed to creat accessory supply chain around these products.WithApple,you have n number of suppliers making and supplying accessories at very reasonable price.Which serve the purpose if not as excellent as the original l proposed by Apple.But, With samsung it is not possible.I brought Galaxy Tab 6 with S pen a year and half back. Till date I am not able to get a appropriate cover for it, which has pen slot with nonmaganatic cover. Mahanata in cver creat interference with functioning of Pen.

                  Finally a waterproof tablet after the Xperia Z tablet series which was launched years back.
                  This is great by the pool or in the kitchen.

                  Samsung looks serious about their Tablet lineup with great offerings in the budget, high end and now Active segments.
                  I Wish other Android manufacturers follow in this direction.

                    I lost my faith in samsung when i bought Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) for 130 euros and never got a major update how this is possible i dont know stuck with 5.1.1 lolipop for 4 years and finally this year thank god a developer manage to make a stable rom 7.1.1

                          America is well spoiled from Samsung. Europe gets horrible ripoff units, as soon it's rugged.

                            Oh wow, that waterproof S Pen is thicc.

                              Real.Talk, 28 Sep 2020Exactly. It's possible and they CAN but CHOOSE NOT TO.Of course, because the challenge is to have a glass back, water resistant phone with a replaceable battery. Glass is rigid and you cannot bend it enough to access a removable battery.
                              Have you noticed that all devices with replaceable batteries have plastic, or - if memory serves right - aluminium backs? And the latter are not waterproof.

                              At the end of the day, it is a matter of priorities both for manufacturers and consumers alike.

                                  Can it be used as a regulary LTE cell phone?
                                  I can't find prizes & order Infos yet.

                                    If they made a rugged tablet with a removable battery, they can also make a phone (rugged or not) with a removable battery.
