Jelly bean is available on single core devices such as the Nexus S they have to update at least all the dual-core devices. Come on Samsung don`t disappoint us...

i am using samsung galaxy s2, they have to provide jelly bean to s2 user bcoz its their first popular device which make them popular, so they can't ignore s2 user if they than i will leave samsung forever and no regrets for them

I'd rather bu... moreIf they don't release the JB update, then the only solution is to get the ROM and ill be doing that for my S2 and root it then overclock it :-) until it breaks down and then ill get the S4 next year if the S2 can last that long, which it will, and why would u buy an Iphone when u know the S2 beats the living hell out of it lol they are so outdated lol

4.1 on galaxy s 2 wow, now that's called a milestone, this will make galaxy s 2 much bigger than iphone 4s

Samsung doesn't bother for their loyal customers regarding updates. Therefore as "Codeworkx of Cyanogenmod" stated, instead of buying Samsung one should always opt for the Nexus devices for regular updates and perfect running custom roms rather than to wait till eternity !

Also google need to stop brining out different versions as the majority of apps and games are optimized for gingerbread meaning the the developers can't keep up with the constant updates. I love android but with adobe flash not being available then what will replace it? Could force me to iPhone!

agreed !!! anroid need to bring one OS that beats all other and can truly use the device hardware at it's best. Gingerbread > Honeycomb > Ice Cream Sandwich > Jelly Bean Google is just introducing new name without much change in actual feature. Yes SAMSUNG need to examine what they should pick as money maker. If SAMSUNG Galaxy SIII is that device they should work in background to bring a better anroid OS. If they want to keep their market growth they should consider all sector not only device alone. To hold the customer they gained they should explore all possible opportunity to satisfy every group of people.

Samsung has to keep updating its flagship phones or else users of SGS2 will buy the new Iphone, which will assure future updates. The best thing Sammy can do to fend off migration of loyal users is to retain them by ensuring regular updates as far as the hardware can allow.
