At least, from gsmarena and many youtuber review about x50 pro+, we can say that x50 pro+ absolutely one of the best camera phone right now.

Not sure about Mi or Vivo, I don't think there any report of fake photos? I only remember the security issue with Mi brand. These brand may or may not have good camera! It best to decide after looking at their photo, and checking if there are fake or not. But regardless, I wouldn't believe the review from DxO nor Youtube on any products, so I wouldn't check those channel. If Dxo came out with a Trump phone with a rating of 200+, I still wouldn't look at it review! I don't follow Trump! I don't follow DxO! I bash DxO as i don't trust there website! I bash all cameraphone which has Instagram style photos!

Poh, 02 Oct 2020But I thought this phone isn't being sold?The X50 Pro+ is only being sold in China at the moment, just like the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. No words about the global release at the time of this writing. So if you want to own an X50 Pro+, you have to import one from China from sites like Aliexpress and have to rely on China ROM.

I am suspicious of DxO though. Pics from a Huawei P40 Pro or Mi 10 Ultra can be easily shot from a DSLR camera, or the phone and then editted. Using the watermark like Notebookcheck (GsmA is still better in photography) helps to identify those shots are not faked. Other sites give mixed results.
DxO completely forgot that the Nokia 9 Pureview is supposed to shoot RAW images and then the user edits those shots.
Not an expert of camera hardware nor photography, but I can still make judgements and I have tried various phones (including Chinese) hands-on.

That why i don't bother with their result from 2012. But if you are comparing cameras on Android V iPhone. Android generally have better camera, when you comparing flagship v flagship. Cos Android refresh the camera hardware more often than Apple. And they pay for newer camera sensor and lens. While Apple, your paying for the better security and eco-system! While their camera hardware remains the same for too many iterations!

It just ... moreYea ik that camera specs are not everything. Hardware and software both matters. But there's those people whose gna say that Chinese brands only got to the top of DXOmark because of their camera specs and that they suck in real life performance.
Then they will go on about why other brands (like Google or Apple) should be on top because they have btr camera software (which is actually heavily limited by the hardware like their main and tele cameras).
And most of these people commenting has NEVER even tried any of those phones bef and just think that all DXOmark has to do to rank the phones is to look at the spec sheet (srsly?), when they actually have done real life testing in multiple conditions etc and posted the photo results on their webpage so people can see for themselves. DXOmark is actually much more accurate than what people think it is.
