Anonymous, 16 Oct 2020Rebranded Chinese product sold as Indian. Not even part of ... moreDon't spread false news. Since recent years, importing already-assembled phones results in import duties, so rebranded Chinese-assembled phones will be higher in cost than locally assembled. That's why Xiaomi started assembling in India, in the first place.

Regarding Micromax, they have already been approved under the name Bhagwati Products Ltd. , for an Make-in-India (PLI) manufacturing scheme, started by the current Indian government -( https://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/samsung-lava-among-16-firms-approved-for-pli-plan-for-phone-manufacturing-120100601404_1.html )
, for which interestingly, Xiaomi didn't even apply.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2020Still partnered with chinese ,huawei i thinkI don't get it..Micromax is launching again whereas Huawei on the other hand..

I had micromax canvas hue. It was very well made and an amoled phone. In 2014 it was huge deal and that too at 10k price range. However the lack of software support turned the experience a bit sour. If they can hit the nail this time, I am ready for the ride.

I hope they revive Cyanogen OS or tie up with Oxygen OS
Phone needs to be solid in terms of quality and price point, like Nokia and OnePlus or even better and with features like Xiaomi in a clear clean user friendly UI with no bloatware.

yesss they need some support...if its good then yess the key are factors
they should target 10k to 15k

3.5mm jack and type c with 20 to 30 watt charger
4500-5000mah battery not over that it make phone 220 grams in weight
                plastic back and frame good
we need only two cameras wide and ultrawide thats it.

                try to use google aps.

processors should be like sd720g or g95 or dimensity720
                size6-6.5 inch
                mobile is hit

Please design low and mid range phones and eventually create flagships, once people recognize the value. All the best.

Please do not make use of patriotism in marketing. It is not good, if you want to grow.

Nowadays smartphones are getting too big to fit in the palm, so micromax should consider this if they want to comeback in the market.

Rebranded Chinese product sold as Indian. Not even part of make in India. Better to buy xiaomi which at least assemble in India
