Your "60%" is frankly just;
1. remove the plastic shrink wrap over the box
2. maybe not include a free TPU case in future models
that reduction of plastic is so minimal yet make such a big deal out of it, that's so lame Xiaomi, lame.

1. Installing EU/AU MIUI ROM.
2. Unlock bootloader (risky) and manually delete adware.
3. Install custom ROM, ex. Corvus
None of which the regular users know.
Some Youtubers and sites, even users already indicated that ads in MIUI can be inappropiate. So don't be surprised if you encounter Brazzers or BangBros ads in MIUI.

The 5 ye... moreKeep convincing yourself that. I've been on Android almost since beginning and switched to iOS two years ago from Pie and they are basically the same with few minor differences. Stop spreading nonsense how massive difference there is, because there just isn't.
App drawer is not even a top feature as I didn't like it even in Android and I'm not a particular fan of app categories either. I liked app home pages even on Android launchers like MIUI and EMUI which are heavily inspired by iOS. App drawer is just sort of useful so I don't have all the apps on the pages. But I still prefer apps on pages as it's just faster than launcher or categories.
Also stop spreading nonsense about slowdowns, that happened only once and only on phones that had degraded batteries and Apple put mechanism in place that slowed down chipsets in phones with battery that couldn't handle the current needed by chipset (so it even worked instead of just dying on CPU usage spikes). But you're just spreading that like it's happening with every update they release. Guess what, it's not and you either damn well know it or you're just another Apple hater spreading BS around.

In Czech Republic prices are like this:
One Plus Nord - 11000 czk. -->405EUR
Iphone 12 mini - 22000 czk. -->810EUR
Entry level models for both, without any discounts or promotions.
I am pretty sure is similar case in other European countries.
So yeah, let's buy new iphones. Wait..no, I was kidding.

The 5 year update system of iOS is a giant scam. You get latest features 5 years late on an average. Android is light years ahead of iOS in terms of functionality, customizability, security and ease of use. Android from 5 years back can do things current iPhone can't.
iOS 14 finally got an app drawer and fully functional widgets, Lol these are things that existed on Android a decade back.
Plus with every subsequent update, your battery and cpu are deliberately slowed down by Apple (Yes, they are paying fines for this malpractice) whereby one is forced to upgrade after a few years.

Either ways, Still better than Sony which is a laughing stock in terms of sales.
Xiaomi is climbing up the ranks, improving their worldwide marketshare while Sony dropped from 35% to almost 0% now. They are as good as being non existent in the smartphone world.
