If they give 4.1 to arc s, Sony will be my next phone when my actual contract with orange will be finished.

Btw, Sony(Ericsson) so far has been the best in upgrading their phones to ICS: the entire 2011 lineup has been upgraded (save the Play, because ICS is more resource hungry and would affect the gaming performance), no other manufacturer can say the same, check what LG, Motorola, HTC and Samsung have (or, well... haven't!) done.
People that complain are just trolls, and probably are not even Sony users.

This is stupid and vendors are guilty for it. They crumbled Android versions with their lame excuses whether one device gets latest update or not. It's especially lame when you don't get an update on rather high end model and then you see a new budget model arrive with latest OS preinstalled despite completely inferior hardware. It's not nice and i don't have plans to buy new phone every damn year just because they are too lazy to update them. This especially sucks since Cyanogen doesn't support that many Xperia models. Sola for example is not on the list and it was among my favorites...

Sony are a joke. They are on about JB now and they havent even finished rolling out ICS for the Sony Xpria S!. Always the same story with Sony.... Always promise and never deliver and always last. An even when they do release it onto their phones its full of their own poor software that slows it down and kills your battery. Sony Device have promising Hardware and good core software then their monkeys jump in and destroy!

yes...sony delivers.
i'm sure theyll gve jelly bean ot all 2011 xperias.
Since cyanogemmod 10 has proved that jelly bean works on galaxy fit and ace which have 600 mhz and 280 mb ram and 160 mb storage..i guess we all know jelly bean is actually the most efficient OD ever.
it works with such low recsources and does more than any other mobile OS ever.
Now 2011 xperias have 1 ghz and 512 ram and more that 160 mb of space so theres no real reason not to give them jelly bean.
Come on Sony...don't let the users down !!!
