DantE O2, 29 Oct 2020superior in what terms? using more power . yeah it is.you really need to look things up.on the cpu side they already beat intel,in pretty much everything, being cheaper, and having good/better performance.sure amd was a heater 10 years ago,but now its the opposite now its intel thats a power hungry heater. If what they showed on the gpu site too becomes to be true than its even better than nvidia, not being so power hungry anymore, and having the same if not better performance.I say this as an rtx card owner which i regret buying to be fair,as the ray tracing is still a joke, but i had to buy a card at that time.

DantE O2, 29 Oct 2020superior in what terms? using more power . yeah it is.Performance per watt of AMD is Miles better than any Intel+ nvdia combo..... That 14 nm architecture running 5 GHz is unsustainable in normal use

[deleted post]i don't see 6800xt being priced lower than 3080
whatever nvidia prices his card AMD will cut 50 off of it and that doesn't mean affordable.
650 or 699 are all same. for example.
it's just cause at the same price no one will buy AMD (this is what AMD thinks at least) . so they always wait and see what nvidia does then cut 50 off of it and announce their line up.

Ali Othman, 29 Oct 2020so an All AMD PC build can be supperior to an Intel and Nvi... moresuperior in what terms? using more power . yeah it is.

Cards seem quite interesting. However, with my horrible driver experiences with my Vega 64 cards, I won't buy their cards again anytime soon. I rather buy nVidia as long as their drivers remain more stable for my use. 3080 will be my next card.

so an All AMD PC build can be supperior to an Intel and Nvidia PC....
Also why I like this competition is that the end user is going to.
1- lower price tags on older components
2- more aggresive pricing benefiting the user
3- more options instead of just 1, making it more of open market with wider availability.

AMD just follower or I can say just copy from existing tech.

Nvidia is a leader thus they can dictate the market through steady growth.

Nah. None of these excites me anymore. My RX 580 8GB I bought 2nd-hand from a miner seller still satisfies my needs.

Rage mode is when the RX 6900XT doesn't stop me from getting one shot by Fizz

Forgive me, I know very little about AMD & Nvidia graphic cards naming , so will any of these new cards or their Ti or Max-Q versions (?) be seen on gaming laptops like the Asus ROG series or HP Omen series next year ? Thank you.

meh, I would rather have a nvidia 3070Ti more stable drivers.

                                They have actually shocked everyone

Hope things going smoothly for them and not being like what a mess Nvidia is right now. Also please have some good drivers for it too.

There was a time that this site wouldn't (couldn't?) talk about a phone release because it's a CDMA phone, yet here we are. Not that I mind, though.

Nvidia killed SLI to charge 3 times more for 2ice performance. Understandably, SLI don't scale linearly,
Hoped AMD would have made multi flagship gpu support, through some link or pcie 4.0, for the cutting edge enthusiast for 8k120-144fps just because to showoff to nvidia
That would be asking too much
I am asking for it, but couldn't buy it.

Let see if AMD can shake up the high end GPU market, because they never got any share to begin with, only in the times of ATI cards but since AMD took over, they never got relevant in high end GPU segement.
