I remember reading in a Mac magazine some months ago about how much each Apple product costs and how much profit they make on each one. If I recall correctly the mag said at least 400% profit on each iPhone. Or it could have been the iPad. Regardless, that's how Apple rip their customers/fans off!

I'd like to see how... morethen you can laugh all you want. The rest of us can enjoy whichever is the best for the moment and everyone agrees its either iPhone or an Android phone. I played with a office issued windows phone upgrade to windows mobile 7.5 and that's it their marketplace is void of apps. Its very very hard to find apps that will be useful.
I know you would know that i you truth owns a windows mobile phone. Now the phone is in the drawer since no one is interested in using it.

I think google now is prep work for google glasses.

You try to dictate the parameters of the competition with your "what ifs" to paint Apple Inc. as a winner. Pricing is part of the competition. So is variety. Just as much as quality and features. That's the only way we consumers win. Apple can't give people what they want at the right price. Companies like HTC, Samsung, Sony help us consumers spend our money according to our needs and wants. Apple just DICTATES features they want and sell them at a price that suits Apple only.

Im proud to say that I owned a Lumia phone. this will be a good start for nokia and windows. the increase in shipment is really stunning. hopefully after releasing the wp8 this will increase more faster until the Nokia bring back its title to be the number one phone manufacturer in the world.Go Windows phone! this OS will defeat the android and IOS soon!

I'd like to see how many of these android phones cost more than 400 euros. Then compare those figures to the iphone sales!!!

If apple made a cheaper iphone they would have dominated the market! Ask any developer and they'll say the same thing. Plus Apple customers are mostly rich so they actually PAY for 3rd party apps!
Android on the other hand...

Also what percentage of the Android phones were high end vs very low end cheap phones? Different answers to different questions which have different implications. For example, developers still prefer to develop for ios first, or even exclusively because iOS users spend more on apps in general (related to the first few facts above), even though iOS has a lower marketshare than Android.

Just install Parallels 7 on your iMac and you can run OSX, W8, Linux, XP whatever. If you choose to you can run the OSs seamlessly together as if they are one! Try it, it works a treat..
