kodn, 09 Aug 2012I wish Sony would put Super AMOLED screens on their phones...That would be the biggest mistake ever.
The latest lcd, namely the SuperLCD2 under it's various names from a few manufacturers, like Lcd hd something.., is way vetter at color reproduction. Amoled sucks at color reproduction, not to mention that a 720p LCD looks sharper than a 720p amoled. Amoled uses that stupid pentile matrix ...and it also gives a blue tint to it.

530Euros is too much for this phone...and it's arrival is too late...there are much better phones for this amount of money...and there are much better phones about to be released..

And ofcourse it costs a little bit more, it's made out of Aluminum and again, it's cheaper than the One X/S3 and the only thing that they have an advantage at is the proceesor department.
Ion has a better camera, PSmobile, made out of aluminum, better design IMO, SD slot(over One X) and comes with better stuff inside the box (Fast charger, Sony in-earphones, 4 Smart Tags, HDMI cable, car charger and screen protector apart from the one already on the phone)

ion is already available in the philippines. ion did not get good reviews so i think sony have no choice but to release an international version of the gx.

OMJ....!!! That red color on Xperia ion looks awesome...!!! Wish I could get it rightaway. Rs. 36,000 is a little high but ultimately it'll come down to Rs. 34,000 - Rs. 35,000.

Please people, this phone should have a Snapdragon S4(!). That means Cortex A15 (Krait) architecture. Brand new and extremely fast dual core capable of keeping up with the current quad-cores.

This phone has way too many cons going for it.
# GingerBread out of the box when phones with JellyBean are about to hit the market.
# Previous generation Snapdragon(S3) processor compared to the likes of new generation S4 and Quad-core processors.
# Way too pricey for a Dual-core phone.
# With Xperia GX/Hayabusa and Xperia Mint/T along the way, this phone is sure to get outshadowed by them.

Possibly the last android OEM to come up with S4 snapdragons - based product.
