I'm an android fan, but there is no logic in your statement - you compared an OS to phone, MP3 player and tablet. I agree, that thanks to Samsung android is leading OS on smartphone's market, but there is no competition for Apple at the moment when it comes to iPod and iPad sales. That's simple fact which you failed to see and I don't even want to comment on your claim, that you sell mobile phones (mp3 players or tablets - you didn't specify actually..) for living.

Primark, 14 Aug 2012I'm a sony fan, its sad to see sony not being in the 5, I a... moreYes it's sad, I myself I'm also their fan...I think their marketing strattegy is failling and waited to much time to get out with new devices and much of them with GB even with their top quality. They have better creativity design, their UI is elegant, their multimedia features are the best and all their low/mid-range are way better than the competition. But their marketing is to slow! Wake UP SONY you're being eaten by LG and even ZTE :O

come'on .. apple has only few smartphones like iphone 4s and iphone 4 while samsung has tons of smartphones in the market but still apple manage to get in rank 3..

Samsung stats are always made up stats , not true at all.
In 2010 , they boasted that they sold 2 million tabs but they sold only 10% of them , 2 million were just shipped but not sold.
And most phones of android are low end phones where margin is less , HTC started to release only few devices , at higher end as they can get more margin than selling more number of low margin devices.
Thats the reason Apple get 77% profits alone and samsung in second place who is managing to sell s3 , s2 and notes decently.
And this doesn't count iPod Touches , Galaxy players and Tablets.
On a whole , iOS and Android have very close share.
On phone market , Android is doing very well but no-one knows how many are in shelves and how many actually are sold.
Even if we exclude those , Android is having pretty decent market.

iOS is 28,935 x 1000
Apple is 28,935 x 1000
This indicated that all the unit sales for Apple as a whole were only iOS devices. So how can the percentages be different?
