Microsoft is a company that used to be an example, setting a high bar for everyone...these last few years it has been finding new lows! They should be ashamed of themselves.

Its worthless unless Microsoft can do a Apple and make all the software run nearly as fast or faster on Windows, Apple have done a MUCH better job the only problematic apps appears to be games and such... (DRM and multiplayer ones with anti-cheat ones the most)

So the Surface Pro X (Windows on ARM) introduced 2 years ago going on 3rd & considered "that's a bit late"!? emulation for x64 apps just released weeks after (Apple on ARM) & that's also "bit late"... I swear sometimes it feels like a war or following a cult or whatever.... Just saying

Microsoft took now decades to develop or co-develop their own silicon. This right here is the key reason they basically throw things at the wall over the years...at least in my opinion. Had they co-developed or developed silicon with SW years ago they'd have no issues writing up stuff. However the E2 concept they have had for a long time and many others are pioneering tech. Microsoft only gives to the Consumers what they need. We only see that aspect. Apple only and purely gives to the consumers. So Apple is worse off than many others as they reply and are dependent on one industry...I could care less how well Microsoft caters to me as a person though..So long as they are pioneering for the world and not just a bunch of users who look at youtube lol.

It's just that MS didn't want to upset Intel and the x86/64 is their cash cow. There were no incentive for developers to recompile to ARM. There's more money to made on the Apple platforms. Developers will put more effort into it.

I am a huge Microsoft fan because they are one of the most forward thinking companies but I regret to say all their projects are only sketches and blueprints. They write sci-fi, and others are actually building it decades later. None of their projects is taken seriously and is more of a geek thing. Their other problem is that they are trying to fit their extremely outdated Windows code and mentality in a completely new environment. Apple really nailed it with all those highly specialized co-processors that were already there and they fed the righ code. Microsoft is doing patchwork with old rags.

FINALLY, ABOUT TIME! Now it's just a matter of time before Microsoft can officially release it to the public.
