I received this update OTA for my Xperia Neo ( the original version) and it broke my front camera: Now, in the camera settings, there is no longer any option to unlock the front camera and face unlock won't start either. The phone's diagnostics report that my phone doesn't have a front camera.
Now,. I'm all for progress but, if I'd wantee a phone without a front camera, I would have bought an X10.

I'm currently using the update on my arc s and it's sweet. I did not get the update via OTA anyway. Got through pc companion. From Nigeria

Got an update on my Xperia Live with Walkman; three days ago! and its running lag-free now! EVERYTHING IS LAG-FREE NOW! Thankyou Sony!

To Sony:
1. PC Bridge for mac doesn't recognise the xperia Ray in MTP mode.
2. Please allow Adobe Flash 12.87Mb, Adobe Reader 10.48Mb, Office Suite 22.70MB, Wise Pilot 16.58Mb to be moved to SD card!!!!!
This is a total amount of 62.63 Mb clogging my ROM and already have the "insufficient storage message", when I could have more storage if those apps where allowed to be moved to Sd card.
3. Please do a jpeg processing upgrade, for all my 5mpx phones take more detailed crisp pictures, than this 8mpx one. Galaxy Nexus is an example of what a good 5mpx processing can do. Take a look at what apple does with an 8mpx sensor! I paid a lot for this phone, supposedly because it had a great camera (which I believe it still does, despite having very poor jpeg processing).
4. Please bring Jelly Bean for a smoother experience, as it also is within the 18months update agreement.

I updated my Arc S last night through Sony PC Companion, I didn't get any notifications from the Update Center and I kept checking daily but no new software was showing to be available, I had to plug it in my laptop. So far I can't find any new features or changes, but I gotta say that the phone feels a bit faster, it takes less time to load apps from SD card when turned on. The phone and contacts load faster and don't lag as before, it basically fixes all the bugs that came along with ICS.

After updating to .587.. Some of my apps such as restaurant and bakery story kept flashing and blinking. The lower menu (contacts, phone. Etch.) became transparent. The music gallery? No changes..
